There is a focus point here and I think it is on the far left pencil eraser in the foreground. It is such a short focal length that the entire photo looks out of focus. I would have probably focused on the brand name on the top pencil or something.

I get by your title that this is a university and the architecture supports that to a degree. I think the photo needs a little more context such as some people studying. It does meet the challenge and there are some interesting leading lines and curves shown. It's somewhat underexposed in that the foreground area is dark but you had to do that in order to get the background to not be way too blown out. Nice job with a difficult subject.

Awesome warm golden tones and a super shallow DoF! I love the line the golden circles make taking you through the shot. I am not sure what I am looking at here because it is so abstract, which is a good thing because I can let my imagination run. To me this looks like a golden lake with ripples of waves and three mysterious objects floating on it. Nice job!
