Must be Prom Day

It may be true that you took this picture on the person's prom day, but there is nothing in the photo that gives a hint of this to the viewer. So here the title doesn't add anything to the picture. It's a good picture in that it has good color and saturation and it's in focus, but there is nothing interesting about the composition. There was no interesting point of view, no leading lines, no stop action of a water splash, no motion blur of people having a water fight. So I don't want to be harsh in my criticism, but here is an example of a good and average picture.

Unbelievably low finish!!! I cannot believe it!!! This was one of the best of the challenge!!! Seriously not appreciated work here!!! What makes this so good? I think it is the light and shadow at play on the branches and the royal blue color of the sky in contrast with the grey/brown color of the branches. The textures also stand out well. There seems to be some noise in the sky, or perhaps added grain of some sort which keeps me from voting higher than I did.
