Black Teaby KarenNfldComment: Now here is a use of a water drop to create interest. You have added interest to this set up by creating some motion which is pretty cool. |

My New Carby MaverComment: Technically black on black... Mostly everyone tried to do something low key and I think using a low key shot could have helped create the illusion of being a real car. Try adjusting levels to drown out the texture on the black background and making it darker. |

Zipperby snafflesComment: I like this shot but something strange is going on. The left side of the image is nice and sharp and crisp while the right side is sort of blurred or not quite sharp. It may be due to using a very low aperture like f1.8 or so and getting a field of focus of less than an inch. But it definitely goes from the wrist to the right jacket lapel. You can see it on the zipper and the snap. |

Gang of fourby cprintzellComment: Nice use of shapes showing a curve with the cutouts. Also the spot lighting is nice and soft. Only real issue is the figure on the left falls outside the light making it disappear and losing symmetry. The fix for that is to move the light or the characters or your point of view so everything lines up nicely and symmetry is achieved. |

Black Dropby JMartComment: Gratuitious Water Drop Shot!! Could use some more contrast and saturation. The lighting is very obvious as it appears all over the curves and edges of the object... could use a diffuser of some sort. You can also see the reflection of your set up fairly well off the handle. |

Black Olivesby dragonwarlord98Comment: Good composition using the shape of a triangle... possibly cut more of the bowl off and get closer to accentuate that. Good lighting on the olives with no overt hot spots. I think a simple levels adjustment could have darkened up the background so the texture disappeared. |

Safeby calculusComment: I like how you filled the frame with the cimps and also cropped this so that the mother chimp is not totally seen and acts as a background for the baby. The focus seems a hair off, but it might be because this was shot through glass?? also I would like to see the contrast bumped up and made a little darker. |

Case of the Travelling Gorilla (CW)by dtremainComment: This is a cute set up. I think it would look better if it were darker with more contrast and color saturation so the pink is really luminescent against the deep black tones. |

Points of Lightby jonksterComment: I am undecided on how I like the purple tone... at least I hope it's a purple tone and not my monitor :) |
