I had to come back and look at this to figure out the orientation -- think I have it now. I think I would have gone for a lightly tighter crop to remove the little bits in the lower corners that aren't being seen from the inside of the glass. Also, because I tend to like things like this not centered, I wonder if it would be possible to crops so the "stem" of the glass is further to the left -- but that might cause some other "outside the glass" difficulty -- not to mention being purely my own preference for composition.

Can't say I want it framed and on my wall, but it's fun anyway. I think it would have been much better if you'd gone for a daytime shot instead of using the flash. That would give you better lighting on the ceiling/chandelier and not overbrighten your pants and socks.

Cool abstract. That one spot of color on the washer(?) is great. I wish the code along the left was more perfectly parallel to the image boundary, but it also looks like it might be on a curved surface and so that might not be possible.

Who let the dogs out!

Good reflection. Since the reflected dogs, in this case, are in a more dominant position in the photo, I wonder if cropping tighter to the real dogs and allowing a little more space above the reflected dogs wouldn't make this seem a little less just a pic turned upside down. Beyond that, while the reflected pair of dogs seems to be well lit, the real pair seem a little overexposed -- as does the sky behind them. Without using a split density filter, or doing some work in PS, I don't know any suggestions to work on this.

Nice black and white. Fun positioning of the cat in the frame. Personal preference would be to make it a little bit more contrasty (make the darks a bit darker). A few parts of the cat seem to be out of focus (front paws, tail) -- was the cat moving during the shot, or is it just a little bit too shallow DOF?

I'm assuming it's upside down, although I can't be certain -- in fact, I'd have to say that it looks like a water drop on whatever the surface is moving down, and not up. I'm very intrigued by what you can see inside the bubble/droplet -- I don't know if it's possible or not (if your camera has a decent macro), but if you could get closer, I think that would be really cool.

I'll venture to guess that a number of people don't like the depth of field -- I do. I question a little bit, however, the choice of the focal plain -- I would have pushed it back a little toward the glasses themselves, and not on the earpiece. But that's a preference. The color seems not quite right -- I think this would make a great black and white, but the faint maroonish cast to everything doesn't seem appropriate to me.

Everytime I looked at the thumbnail on this one, I wondered why I voted it so high, and I had to continually remind myself that is was much better bigger. My only suggestion would be maybe a bit more of a crop to remove some of that "dead" space at the bottom of the picture. Hard to do without losing some of the other cool stuff at the sides -- unless maybe you went with the 640x427 image size...

OK, I'm lame. I see what I'd guess to be clouds, but to be honest, I can't be certain. I guess I'll look at it as an interesting abstract. It has a very painterly feeling to it, but not so much a photographic one. I don't have any suggestions because I simply don't know for sure what you were going for.

I'm very curious to find out what YOUR version of the "story" is behind the shot and title. I know what I've come up with, but I'll be interested to see if they match. Technically, I think this is a little over-exposed. I think I would have darkened things up a little bit -- make the whites not quite so washed out and the blacks a little darker. HOWEVER, with my version of the story, even having it a little messed up exposure-wise works, so....
