While I know this is a miniature, my understanding of the challenge was to have a regular sized object to show off the miniature size of the subject. Therefore placing a full size object in the frame would have made this better in my eyes... 6

Very nice... cropping out the ugly spot in the water (top right) would have been nice, but then you would have lost part of the snail. Otherwise I really like this shot... I even like the color... 9

Excellent idea... the dirty stovetop and the reflections in the egg yolk really detract from this shot. Perhaps covering the window and using a light instead would have gotten rid of those. Having a light reflection would be better then the window I think... but that's just my opinion. :-) 6

Dog torture, Christmas in July

I like the idea, but the image itself is kind of small. maybe a bigger dog? To Dwarf the tree and thereby enhance the miniature aspect of it... or on the reverse, a bigger tree to enhance the miniature of the dog... or a big tree, little dog and a big package.. you know, just getting the bottom of the tree with the little dog next to the huge gift?.... 6

I'm assuming you are implying that his winky is minature, however, if I didn't know the title of the challenge I would never have gotten that out of this image. The title only confuses this more. Shame over what? Again, not knowing the challenge topic I would never get miniature from the picture and title. 4
