Bobster, i too think that people deserve to know when their comment was helpful but we all have a different idea of what "helpful" is. Telling someone they have nice colours is good and well, but as a learner, I think that a little depth to the comment may have helped me to think of other ways to improve. it's not that i don't appreciate their comment, i do, but that may not be my idea of what is "helpful". i too was disappointed at the results of this photo only because i was quite happy with what it said to me. thanks for your comment.
