	Desolation- deprived of inhabitants by Dim7 Comment: I like this, but it's a little too centered. Also, I think the lighting is too bright for the subject matter - a darker look and/or more contrast would make this more dramatic.

	Desolation by heida Comment: Wow. This is a great shot. I'm not really sure what those are in the foreground, but they evoke a feeling of abandonment that works great. The contrasts, and those clouds, are arresting.

	Her hands lie idle now by neenee1999 Comment: Really poor resolution for some reason - the result is that the shot is extremely pixelated. It's hard to tell if this would be a good picture, due to the pixelation problem.

	Heatwave Desolation by sandabella Comment: Good idea, showing the dead flowers. However, the background is distracting, and the foreground of the picture is out of focus. I think a greater depth of field and a different angle would have helped.
