Crossing the Forth by Sail, Rail, or Road by PenelopeKComment: Originally posted by Neat: Same scene as Robert but amazing what PP can do. |
Same scene in the broadest sense. Robert's image was taken quite a bit earlier, with a much wider angle lens, and before the sail boat was in the vicinity. Clearly we chose different styles for our post processing, as is usually the case. Message edited by author 2018-08-10 16:04:33. |

Summer Rainby jomariComment: I don't remember seeing this image before. It's so lovely, both as an image and for the story it tells. |

Thanks! and yes this is sand. A lot of people spend time nearby and this is as far as they can go in a vehicle, so there are a lot of parking maneuvers "recorded" over time. Once in a while a higher than usual tide washes over the area and the process starts again.
I inverted the image before doing any other processing. That helped emphasize the tire patterns. |

towards the lightby hopperComment: Wonderful lines. Love how it starts solid and then opens up. The symmetry really works well here. Got my top score I gave for this challenge. |
