with mixed precipitationby bjh0705Comment: I enjoyed this. I love the series of quite different bands with their different textures etc. and the change in the light. What I also enjoyed was that my eye at first wanted to interpret the line behind the trees as the horizon. Sorting out that why that was happening caused me to linger and enjoy the image a little longer. Thanks. |

View from Mt. Erie by franktheyankComment: Lovely image. Lots to enjoy and explore. The branch and the series of islands are both very effective at leading one's eye to the horizon. At first glance I thought it was a negative, or an infra red, but I guess it's just the onset of winter! One of my highest scores. Good luck.! |

Signal_IMG_6556-FBdkDPCby GeneralEComment: This is elegant!! I like both the design and the color palette. I'm also curious... did you take the original specifically with flip and blend in mind? |

la femme au chapeauby bubeltrubelComment: I love this. In addition to the things others have already pointed out I like how there appear to be three, or maybe four, distinct "zones" of people. In the foreground there is basically one person, the lady. In the middle distance there are three of four groups of people, then another few groups further out, who appear closer to each other than the implied spacing in the foreground. Finally at the horizon there are lots of people who appear to be quite close to each other. I realize this is just the distortion of perspective/distance, but I think this change in "people density" is more striking because of the way you chose to process this. Great stuff! It got a 9 from me and was among my top five. |
