I feel a little bit uncomfortable about the framing, but I'm not sure if I would have preferred more negative space or less... hard to say. It's your vision though, and I like it. This is a very beautiful wedding photo that I'm sure the couple will cherish. It's a great take on "your corner of the world". The composition of it is simple, yet compelling - the couple on one third, the farmhouse in the distance on the other. There's a sense of both a history and a future for these two together (if that is their home). Very nice work.

Very, very powerful photo. I love the way you used the space to basically represent the man's mind, and maybe his isolation from other people (I always feel that when I'm truly depressed all the connections between me and other people kind of melt away). I don't really know what to make of the title, but I love this as a portrait. The negative space along with her pose and experession makes her seem subdued and oppressed in some way. There's a definite emotional tension in this image. I love the black and white. 10 - lisae
