Stone Cabinsby leonpcComment: Awesome subject for black and white, really nicely composed. |

House Finchby pnichollsComment: Wow, the thumbnail for this looked a bit plain, but up close there's so much detail in the feathers and around the eye. Nice work! |

Snail on dead leafby chariotComment: Very beautiful. The depth of field is nice, the texture of the background, the contrast, the framing, but I especially love the paralell between the ribs in the leaf and the radial grooves all around the spiral of the snail's shell. 10 from me. |

The textures of the yardby jgazetaComment: Beautiful! I love the high contrast in this photo. You're a lot braver than most people have been in pushing that up a bit. It really emphasises the lines of these petals. |

A Walk In The Gardenby bhop73Comment: There are two objects here competing for my attention. Both are interesting, but together they undermine one another. |

Sweet Caressby neondizastaComment: This photo is gorgeous, but something about it makes me feel like there are too many things going on, too many distractions. In a way, though, it just makes it more charming to me. The hand is a wonderful touch (no pun intended). |

Rootsby Ricky CleaveComment: Wow, awesome! This was a real surprise to me because I didn't notice the "ghosts" in the thumbnail. I love the implications of the ghost images juxtaposed against the signs on the wall with the number of minutes, and the clock. Everything talks to me about the passing of time. I'm giving it 10 :) |

La Jolla Coveby RoninComment: Beautiful rocks. The composition is very effective. The contours draw the eyes around like an explosion. |

trouble pokes you in the eyeby PrestonMayhemComment: Awesome wrinkles! The only thing I'd like changed is to turn up the contrast a little, so the specular highlights on the skin stand out a bit more perhaps. The composition is actually really effective at drawing your eye around the wrinkles and eyebrow, out to the ear and back. |
