This is very tangential to the challenge. The chess board could suggest a form of measurement, but only if I use my imagination.... The colours are nice, and I like the shallow DOF, but this is a highly cliche photo (an egg and a chess board!) without a strong impact in its own right.

I can see 2... what's the third sign?

The tonal depth of this is a bit low... ie, it seems washed out to me. the sky is very pale. The composition seems very static, except for that tree.

I don't qujte see the pi. It's an interesting structrue though. The sky is overexposed, but that's hard to avoid.

I see it. This photo is interesting and original. I like the grainy look. I think it would work with a little more contrast (althoug the gamma on my monitor is high).

PI Worshippers Memorial Hall Dome

Quite nice. I appreciate the circles and radial lines. The pi ratio is visually evident at every junction of straight line and curve. Nicely composed. It has an overexposed look, but I like that.

The Film

Hmmmm...... not sure what to make of this one. Should you have tried to create the atmosphere of the film, as a homage? Or is it enough to just show some promotional stuff? I think the composition is OK, but the photo borrows too much from the design work done by the promotional team for the film. Not much creativity evident in arranging and photographing the poster and CD.

Not a very aesthetically pleasing photo. The composition is awkward and the colours are dull and grainy. The lighting seems a bit washed out.
