Flaming Lipsby arnitComment: Looks scary. I'd like it even better if there weren't so much flame (caught earlier in the eruption), or maybe if it hadn't been quite so bright. But then again, I might end up liking this one better...after the challenge, if it's OK with you, I'd like to try making an adaptation to this image. |

Picture Lightby gcosueComment: Except for the negative aspect of so many dead trees, I don't think the phone books add to the overall concept or effect. Would like to see the same shot with just the picture, empty chair, and the blank TV. |

ndn carby WRenComment: Eye goes to the subject right away. I myself would play with the tone curve(s) to try and keep a little more texture in the clouds while retaining the overall silhouette look. Limited resolution is causing the diagonal lines to get a bit jaggy, but they're supposed to be in the background anyway. |
