Nighthawkby MatthewComment: What first drew my attention was the blurry bartender. The bar and chairs do form a line which drew my eye toward the guy at the end of the counter, but I'd have rated this higher if I wouldn't have had to look for the bored person. |

The World is A Shoe Rackby JPRComment: I love this picture. Is the whole world awash in shoes, or just that portion of the globe?

Get me out of here...by papasmurfComment: This person looks sincerely bored. From a technical perspective the picture lacks interest (even to the extent that images with this theme can be interesting). This shot looks like something which anyone with a point and shoot camera could capture dozens of times per day with little effort. There's nothing about it which suggests any real planning or skill in execution. If some of the clutter on the desk were cropped out this would make a decent (though boring) candid. |

Climaydiaby judy_dalmerComment: These bizarre facial modifications may be the result of boredom, but I'm having trouble seeing boredom actually depicted here. |

Hangin' Aroundby dahkotaComment: This panda looks happy and lazy, not bored. This is a good stock picture of a panda, but it doesn't meet the challenge. |

all alone at the topby switchComment: Even if I accept the anthropomorphic premise that this plant is bored, I can't see it in this image. He's standing tall and proud, wearing his majestic crown, surveying the vast domain that lies below him, stretching as far as the eye can see. |

Cat Napby tristaliskComment: I don't see boredom here. Laziness? Definitely. Fatigue? Yes. Boredom? No. The photo is good from a technical standpoint (good focus, reasonable exposure of the black cat, etc.), but there's little here to separate this image from the dozens of other zoo/house pet pictures. |
