February at Mastbos / Hollandby RUEDISCHMUTZComment: I love the treatment of the sky. The silhouette of the tree on the left is beautiful against the rays of light surrounding it. The trees on the right of the frame break up the horizon line and bring a more dynamic element to this deceptively calm scene. |

"December"by jdixonsdComment: Actually, I think this may have been stronger without that evergreen branch in the top left. I like that you're attempting to break up the horizon line, but I think it just dominates the top half of the image too much to let the rest of it breathe. |

Novemberby tnunComment: Is that a dead bird? A little morbid for a calendar, I'd think... Not really sure I see "November" here, and the choice of lighting is interesting. I think that fold in the fabric in the background is rather distracting. |
