Hairy Lipsby JeffryZComment: The first two times I looked at this, I didn't really "see" it -- probably because it is too dark, and the lashes are not well defined. Now that I have read the title, and I look closely at the eye lashes, I understand the point of the image. I don't know how you could have accomplished your goal, but my problem with this image is that the brightest part of it is the side of the face, and not the lash. You really wanted to bring out the lashes, so you might have had to use some special lighting techniques to bring them out more clearly. |

Decisionsby outofthisnatureComment: It's really, really easy to take interesting and beautiful photographs of someone else's art. For that reason only, I cannot award high marks for this. |

The Pawnbrokerby AmmieComment: This image clearly does not meet the challenge, which stated:
"Your image should use as its PRIMARY subject some part/parts of the human body"
Do you seriously expect us to believe that this dark and completely shadowed hand, stuck out into the middle of what would have been a beautiful landscape photo, is enough to make this image meet the challenge requirements? If you didn't have this particular challenge, would you ever have dreamed of taking a photograph like this? The image looks like someone just stuck a hand in there, and without the context of this challenge, the existence of that hand is very confusing. Therefore, this image is worthless. We all know that you just stuck your hand in there to meet a challenge and for that reason, I cannot give you any marks for this. |

Catch a Cold Oneby tfarrell23Comment: I believe that you wanted the focal point to be the bottle cap (so we can actually see what the "cold one" is), but the lighting is wrong. The bottle cap should be the brightest part of the shot, but the strongest light isn't coming from the front left. |

Refreshingby peterComment: This photo does make me thirsty, however, it makes me want a drink of water, not pepsi. I think the problem is the can is getting over-powered by the rest of the photo. |
