Established 1825by Jon_HComment: Interesting subject and nice clear reflection, but a the glass is a little soft for my tastes and looks way over-Topazed - bad haloes around the edge of the bottle. It's also a shame that the crop cuts out the full reflection of the bottle and glass. It does not feel like a natural picture ratio with the current crop. |

The perfect poseby william88Comment: After seeing your original file, you did a really sweet job in photoshop. Pity it was outside the rules, and got DQ'd. Does not take away from the fact that it's a great photo and was expertly "improved". |

The Firebird Suiteby MelethiaComment: I originally gave this a 7. On second pass, I have uprated it to an 8. Really lovely abstract nature to this shot, and it fits the challenge perfectly. I'm not sure it will appeal to the masses, but if not, it's certainly to feature in the Posthumous Ribbon thread :-) |

Orange and Oh, Those Blues!by sjhulsComment: Fantastic eyes. Not a criticism, but did you try cropping a tiny bit tighter to lose the white bits far left and right. Would that work better? Either way, this was one of only 3x 9's I have given out in this challenge and my pick for a ribbon / honorable mention. |
