Golden Ponds Fall Reflectionsby cdrakoComment: I have a similar image in one of my folders, but this is much much better than the one I took. The whole thing is a kind of a diptych which is interesting. Nice composition, great color saturation - not to heavy, crisp and sharp focus - very nicely done. |

Pilgrimageby bassboneComment: Sometimes you run into images that just seem too perfect. In this case, the rather subdued great hall is broken up by the Monks color in a perfect candid pose. Damn this is a good one - certainly a contender for Winner and/or Top Three. |

Morning Mooseby JaimeVinasComment: I saw a picture in one of my hunting magazines that was very similar to this - only that one sucked and this one is terrific. Boy, it is getting hard to keep going on the voting - all of these images are terrific. Makes one wonder. Terrific. Well done. |

A White Weddingby tbphoto13Comment: Best concept I've see so far in the challenge. Love the soft focus and the effect of the white background and dress - very clever. My only complaint is that the lighting could be a little less strong on the left side of the image, but that's personal choice and not a technical thing. Nicely done - great capture and concept. |

Rootsby HipychikComment: I like the color combinations and the framing. I have a little problem with the focus - it seems very soft - much softer than I would have liked. However, it does work here - very nice image and a good composition. |

Anna by the Seaby AliciaComment: This is how I view portraits. First, the model has to look like they are posed naturally. Then I look for an honest face - you can tell when a model is being forced into expression and when that expression is natural and easy to produce for the model. After that, it's the incidentals - how is the face related to body pose, is it relaxed or forced, etc. Then on to the photo technicals like exposure, saturation, composition, etc. In this instance, it's simply perfect in all the categories - I can't say it any differently. Well done. |

Mount-Olympusby GuyzyComment: Simple and elegant, great combinations of color and an almost perfect green which is the hardest of the colors to properly capture. Clean crisp composition and not overly busy. Another excellent entry. I'm getting tired of all these great images - making me look like a jerk. :>) |
