Another interesting abstract - very impressionist is concept and execution. The lighting appears to be perfect with no over done color or white space. A really nice image.

This is one of those images where a reviewer can be a real ass or can be honest in evaluating it's merits - a good news, bad news kind of thing. So, the good news is that from an artistic standpoint, it is a very good composition. From a technical standpoint, it doesn't quite make the grade. The juxtaposition of the two skeletons is flawed at the bottom and top of the image which creates a false impression of sloppy post processing. I know what the author was trying to convey, but it just doesn't work - for me that is. Others may differ. But to be fair, it's worth a 7 because of the effort to create it and it's artistic merit.

One of the problems is that there are so many images in this challenge that just jump out at you, this one takes some time to properly parse. Very Rorschach in concept - you stare at it for a while and it begins to make sense. A pretty good entry into the challenge.

Another clever composition. I think it might be a little too busy though - it's hard to get an overall impression without isolating one section to view in detail - the symmetry concept is to view the image as a whole and not in part. Still, a very clever idea and concept. Nicely done.

I've said before that I'm not a big fan of HDR, but this is a terrific example of how to do it right. Very symmetrical with lots of detail. Great color tonality and detail. Very nicely done.

I love it - I'm a huge fan of abstract color imagery, in particular the types of weird shapes one can get playing with reverse images. This is absolutely beautiful - gorgeous. Probably not to everyone's taste, but hey - that's what makes the world go 'round. Well done.

The negative space enhances the devious simplicity and transitional quality of the components of this image. It is truly amazing the amount of detail and depth in this image - the conversion is perfect, nothing is over done or overly strong. An excellent artistic representation of a orchid.

As an advocate of the Aesthetic in photographic imagery, I feel that the qualities of the designated sexual signifier details the devious simplicity of this image. Elegance is not always complex in nature and this image proves it. A very worthy entry into the challenge - I'd like to see this a Top Five. Well done.

The reductive quality of the spatial relationships is very evident in this image - an almost fractal like quality - might almost say Escher in context. The conversion is terrific - nothing over done, whites right on the edge - beautiful image. Well done.
