Yellowstone is a wonder land - I've been there several times both fly fishing the Yellowstone and just wandering around. In fact, I think I've been where this image was taken. Anyway, great capture - gives a true flavor of the park.

A wonderful image. I think a little less contrast so you could see some details on the know covered trees would help, but still - great image.

This is near perfect. The combination of muted colors, the near 3D effect, the subtle lighting on the lowland veld - beautiful. I think a crop to the top of the mountain would improve this image. Still, a beautiful image.

There is a school of thought that says sun rises and sunsets are "easy" - it isn't true and while most images of sunsets/rises are pedestrian, this image goes well beyond "average" into that rarest of ratings, perfection.
Absolutely stunning - I can't say enough positive things. It deserves to win hands down and there is some stiff competition in this challenge.

I really don't know what to day about this - I found the top board much more interesting (with the knots) than the rest of the image. I felt the image is a little too busy to be truly minimalist, but I can see the author's intent and we all don't look at the same thing in the same way.
