tanglewoodby krnodilComment: I wasn't sure if it was my glasses, my monitor or I was having another episode with eye fatique. I understand what the author was trying to pull off here, but it doesn't work - something has to be focused or on the other hand, unfocused to create the etheral image the title suggests. |

The murdererby ionelpopComment: This would have worked very well if the DOF was properly executed. A great concept poorly executed - it would have scored well if properly composed. |

Willow Curtainby jellybellyComment: This might work as a shower curtain, but as a fauna image, its much to busy and over wrought. There is a lot of meaningless shapes and the monotone coloration just makes it boring. |

Up to the Cloudsby dahvedComment: A very unique perspective leading the eye to either take this as a vertical image or a horizontal image. Might have done better centering the subject rather than having it offset which would have enhanced the illusion. Very nice. |

Germinationby frogletComment: I'm rating it higher, even though its a staged image, just because it really funny - laugh out loud funny. |

Oklahoma Redbudby rajronComment: Foreground complimenting the background - check. Detail - check. Above average use of light in composing - check. Color saturation not over done - check. Well done. |

Succulentsby jomariComment: Interesting image, but the lighting did it no favors at all. The odd whites here and there overly complicate an already complex image. It might have been better to concentrate on just one section and work with that rather than try to capture the entire busy scene. |

Yellow Pearlsby davidwComment: A touch over sharpened and the DOF control, which is very important in these types of images doesn't work. |
