Backcountry Extremeby hahn23Comment: A good effort, but it would have helped to use a tracking technique to convey a sense of speed. A lack of detail in the snow is a negative. A difficult shot in difficult light. |

Getting you over the hurdles in life.........by MattOComment: The author has outdone the rest of the field with this image - a perfect capture - strength, speed and power - terrific DOF control which gives a sense of detail without being a distraction to the subject. Rich in detail. A little minor flaw that's not worth mentioning. Well done. |

24 Hour Fitness... We Can Fix This!by ambakerComment: Good lord!! The anti-fitness shot - there are two ways to take this and the best way is to laugh as most obese men are actually pretty jolly people. A very out of the norm image - clever. |

No Pain, No Gainby kingskingdomComment: Excellant DOF control, nice and sharp presenting a good solid stock image. The model presents well with a sense of strength and purpose. Well done. |

Canada's Gameby rmezzoComment: An otherwise excellant image marred by the awkward offset and blank background - the white space is begging for something to fill the void. Incredible detail although a little flaw in the eye reflection - you can see the photographer in the right eye of the subject (left as viewed). The eye thing is a general flaw with tight images and often missed. Overall a great effort. |

The Drive of Fitnessby miminComment: A terrific tracking shot connecting the sense of speed, time and space. And yes, race drivers are atheletes. Well done. |

Escapingby phloverComment: The author has done very well here conveying a sense of freedom and joy. This could have gone two ways either focusing on the dogs or the way the image is presented. Either would have worked well and this is the best so far. A little awkward composition and a little faster shutter speed along with the excellant tracking that the author used would have made this perfect. |

One step at a timeby Pipe_DreamComment: Walking away isn't a good way to portray the fitness factor - you want smiling faces and happy places. DOF is problematic a little tighter on the subjects would have improved the image a lot without the foreground fade. |

Belly-Slideby d56rangerComment: A good solid effort. The snow is a little washed out and lack detail, but the overall feeling of fun in the sun on a cold day is good. Solid effort. |
