"Gimme 20 More"by njsabsComment: The very subtle DOF fade is very clever and a good way to concentrate the viewer's eye on head and shoulders which is the purpose of pushups. The image works in a number of different ways. Another plus is the nature of the sharp angle of the arms which compliment the straight body with gentle curves. A terrific composition well executed. |

Dance!by jettyimagesComment: Very free form showing great joy and fitness - a good demonstraction. The subject could be a little darker given the stark white background. The neck and chin of the dancer fade into the background - a subtle difference in background color would have enhanced this image to near perfect if a darker and more contrasty subject was used. A solid effort. |

An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away!by JessiComment: The soft focus doesn't help the image and the slight reflection is distracting. On the plus side, the single subject makes the point very effectively - it's jut a little short on execution. A sharper image sans the reflection would have made this a top image in the challenge. |

Workout until they wear outby millsaComment: Clever title and a very clever use of footwear. Some images and titles don't work, but the overall impact of this is stellar. A ribbon contender for sure. |

Fitness Scoresby cabaComment: Another effective use of limited focus to achieve a provacative effect. A great demonstration of intent and purpose with rich detail and soft detail. The author clearly created an iconic image of the great sport of baseball. Well done. |

Deliberationby StructorComment: A terrific title and a terrific photograph. The feeling is one of lonely comtemplation in the face of potential danger. The incredible detail is shocking. A certain ribbon candidate and a for sure top ten image. |

Go at your own pace.by kyenComment: Go at your own pace and do your own thing is the sense of the image perfectly presented to the viewer. Unfortunately, the gray in the foreground creates a sense of false framing and intensifies the sense that the image is tilted which it isn't - the whimsical nature of the image is hurt by this unfortunate circumstance. A good solid effort with a different messge that is very effective. |

Focusby everlookComment: The slight saturation, excellent detail and overall emotional impact are stellar. The soft relief foreground leading to the incredibly sharp subject is masterful. Very effective use of space to impart a feeling of intensity on the part of the subjects. A sure fire ribbon winner. |

Weights and Measures by JoaniePComment: An interesting and different approach to weight loss and fitness the image works very well. Good solid composition and good detail. The slight DOF change from right to left is intriguing, but it might have been a better choice to keep the entire image in sharp relief. |

Wilson 2by BudyaComment: A solid effort and as a statement of fitness, works on a couple of levels. The use of DOF is different and it might have been better to focus on a sharper foreground with a gentle fade into the dark background the author's choice is perfectly understandable. |
