Featherby KarelfredComment: The author's intent is clear and the treatment effective. It might have helped to have a little less exposure and perhaps darked up the image just a little to have the most impact of the feather shadow. From an artistsic standpoint, this is a very nice composition. |

Hala Kahikiby zackdezonComment: A little on the bland side, but subject does match the challenge subject. Nicely controlled green, but the different lighting approach lacks impact. A good entry into the challenge, just a little short of being properly executed. |

The Girl With The Wind In Her Hairby gsalComment: Crisp and sharp, this entry doesn't quite meet the challenge, but the author's intent was clear. A good portrait and the curly nature of the hair complies with the subject matter, unfortunately a little too dense and lacking in interest. |

A Grate picture and a cheesy lineby sandymanComment: Simple and very effective treatment given the corner to corner focus treatment. Nice color control with no significant flaws. A touch over done on the bottom left with the soft focus, but overall a worthy entry into the challenge and a worthy of placement in the top thirty if not top twenty. |

So Softby GeeeComment: The author might have done better to concentrate on one of the rabbits to get the maximum effect with respect to the subject challenge. A little less lighting would have helped also. A good entry into the challenge. |

A Soft Feather Pillowby AndyMac24Comment: Well thought out and properly captured demonstrating texture in the natural world. The complimentary background treatment enhances the overall impact of the image. A beautiful image that should be a top ten contender if not a prize winner. |

Fresh Iceby TraumaHoundComment: Different and unusual a good treatment of the challenge subject. The right side could have been cropped without impacting the image at all. A little more color and better focus control would also have helped. |

Moocalyptusby jomariComment: A perfect title reflecting the impact of the image on the viewer which the author obviously intended. No major flaws or defects make this a certain top-ten image and should be a ribbon contender. |

Crackedby colorcarnivalComment: An interesting grayscale presentation - effective use of grain and lighting control. A solid entry into the competition, but lacking in visual appeal. |

How do you like them applesby GiorgioComment: A very clever concept presented with a certain senes of humor. A little less blue would have enhanced the effect and a crop of the top third would only positively affect and improve the overall concept. A worthy entry into the texture challenge. |
