Light and shadow meet the challenge in a sound way in this image. Unfortunately, the overall impact of this concept is less than overwhelming. It might have worked better in color. It does meet the challenge though which is a plus.

A creative use of available light to create an object from the shapes of clouds. While clever and demonstrates a good eye, unfortunately the average viewer wouldn't necessarily see the image and just view it as a hodgepodge of light and shadow.

A good idea on the use of lighting, but it just doesn't connect. It might have been better to concentrate on the petal that is transparent in a macro shot to make it much more interesting. While the subject does match the challenge (per the title), it's just an image and nothing spectacular or creative.

A nice static image which works on a couple of levels, but the use of lighting to achieve an effect is not as effective as it might be - it's a fairly standard type of image and while the blue effect is interesting, it's not overwhelming in an artistically or technically.
