Sunbathingby Dano6Comment: More a image of lighting than a creative use of lighting. It's hard to rate this because of it's nature. It might have been a better approach to find a subject and then use the lighting to create the image rather than of the light itself. |

The "Spilt"by csolomon1Comment: As a friend of abstracts, this is simple an outstanding example of indirect lighting creating a truly abstract image which is both intriguin and somewhat thought provoking. A great example of how lighting can be used to great effect in a creative way. The only complaint is the left side of the image which could be viewed as a flaw, but adds some dimension and attempts to fill a void in space. Well thought out and executed, if there were any justice, it would be a ribbon winner. Well done. |

Red in the Lightby GeeeComment: An interesting effect and by product of indirect lighting. This image is a clear demonstration of how to properly capture indirect lighting to good effect. A nice eye for abstracts, the author did well to see and use the effects. Well done. |

Zigzag Linesby gtroiaComment: An interesting effect and by product of indirect lighting. The image might have been improved by concentrating on the effect on the stairs with a closer shot, but as it is, it is a clear demonstration of how to properly capture indirect lighting to good effect. A nice eye for abstracts, the author did well to see and use the effects. Well done. |

Fruit Bowl using Bounced Lightingby johnpaulphotoComment: The problem with bouncing lighting is that sometimes one can achieve a uneven effect that detracts from the image. The colors on this image seem to be overly saturated which is a negative. A good use of bounce which is just a little uneven. |
