An interesting use of ambient light to create a visual effect. The subtle shapes and colors are beautiful giving the viewer a sense of peace and quiet not normally available on a daily basis. A good, solid entry into the challenge, there is nothing about this image to even nit pick. Well done.

It's hard to rate this because of it's nature. It's not particularly creative in the sense of being a creative use of light. It is an amazing and stunning image, it's just not right for this challenge.

Several views of this image did not affect the initial impression of the author being not only creative with lighting, but using light to great effect with the extremely clever inclusing of all three colors into the stem of the center glass. Perfect DOF control. An example of how creative use of lighting and lighting systems can create a stunning image. A ribbon contender if not an outright winner.

More a image of lighting a spectacular object than a creative use of lighting. It's hard to rate this because of it's nature as this is not special or creative in the sense that it's a very common image taken and viewed by thousands over the years. As a standalone image, it is beautiful and fully representative of the American South West, but as a creative use of lighting, is falls somewhat short.
