Stranded coastal vessels, in particular ones like this, are like disrespecting their great heritage which, when viewed from that perspective, is Not Quite Right. A terrific image in and of itself meets the challenge in a unique way.

This goes right on past from Not Quite Right straight into Dude, that is just wrong. A clever angle and a good capture with the backlight and proper shadow control. A very worthy entry into the challenge.

Humor is always appreciated and this is a good example of how to express an idea by combining two different concepts into one. The image is technically sufficient to tie the whole concept together. Well done.

A sense of humor in challenges like these are always appreciated and when they meet the challenge criteria head on, it is a pleasant experience for the viewer. The image is nice, crisp and the melding of two disparate ideas of the rough ready underground worker and afternoon tea is just delicious (pun intended). Well done.

The image meets the challenge criteria in a unique way - very interesting viewpoint on "Not Quite Right", although this is a natural process - birth, life, death, etc., it certainly can be viewed as such. A good effort with the image being a little soft on the focus to be truly effective.

Having an event like this happen during a celebration or toast meets the Not Quite Right challenge criteria dead on - Well done. The image itself is nicely staged and composed with no major flaws to speak of. Well done.

A sad end for a once grand old boat and that is not quite right. A good solid entry into the challenge it might have been improved by a little closer look eliminating some of the background and concentrating on the boat itself. Well done.

This one is very hard to rate because there are two ways of looking at it: 1 - DUDE THAT IS JUST WRONG!! and 2 - Dude that just ain't quite right, 'cha know? Very ingenious and it does have a certain black humor about it - clearly outside of the box thinking about "not quite right". Well done.

What room is a room without doors, without windows, without ceilings, without floors?

A mushroom of course. Very creative and clever use of props to create something unusual and "not quite right". The image is a little too tall to be completely effective - the extra space redirects the eye away from the subject. Well done.

Another clever and whimsical image that just proves that sometimes, you just gotta go with it. Highly amusing.
