An amazing viewpoint and something that one doesn't often see with darker faced dogs - rich and detailed facial expressions. While the image could use a little better crop, the vaguely detailed background compliments the intensity and joy of a fun run. An amazing image perfectly captured. One minor little technical issue in that the image is just slightly oversharpened, it is none the less a complete technical and artistic success. Should be a ribbon contender. Well done.

Another highly detailed and technically perfect image, although it would do with a little more cropping on the right - that would be a personal choice however and as it is, it's wonderful. Beauty, grace and style in a motion capture that would is the envy of many photographers. An image suitable for Aududon in any format. Well done.

Abstract in it's execution, there are two ways to view this image - negatively in the sense that it's undetailed and in no way, from a strict interpretation standpoint, indicates motion or the effects of motion. On the other hand, it's very abstract nature is indicative of motion and the colors and motion blue give it a certain feel, as it related to the challenge subject, that is a plus. In this kind of quandry, and given this reviewer's propensity to positively rate abstract images, the benefit of the doubt goes to the author. The blend of color and background are complimentary which is an artistic plus and can be viewed as a technical plus. Not necessarily to everyone's taste, this might break into the top twenty and possibly the top fifteen images if the commenters and reviewers give it chance by understanding the nature of impressionist imagery.

An amazing juxtaposition of bodies, it's almost abstract is it feel and impact. While not technically a motion shot in it's entirety, it certainly has those elements in it which has to be viewed positively. From a technical standpoint, it appears to have the reds over saturated indicated by the slight red halo around the lower birds breast area and the very slight red color cast on the body of the flying bird. These minor technical issues are sufficiently negative to affect the rating. From an artistic standpoint, while effective, the image lacks impact or wow factor. Still a worthy entry into the challenge as it should place within the top twenty. Well done.

At first glance, this image came across as over sharpened, but on review, this was a mistaken impression. The intensity of the bird's eyes, the rich and in depth detail, the perfectly composed background demonstrates how to capture motion perfectly. While the image could use a little better crop on the left, it works perfectly as is. Originally rated a 9, it has been rerated a 10. Well done - a top ten contender and a potential ribbon winner.

An Audubon quality capture, this is simple stunning. A perfect background well controlled puts the emphasis on the bird and suits the over all mood of the image perfectly. Rich in detail with no major or minor technical issues. At first, the artistic impression wasn't quite as good, but on a third viewing, this reviewer has changed the rating from a 9 to a 10. A top ten if not a ribbon contender. Well done.

The author has done well to reduce the over done highlights inherent in this type of image of splashing fish. A little overly busy, it might have been better to attempt a capture with fewer fish, but it works as it is. Rich in detail which is a plus. Technically a difficult capture, the author has done well to reduce the potential side effects of too much action in too little space. Not a perfect image, but very close. Well done.
