bemusedby MichaelCComment: I really like this because that's the way I look most of the time - great image capturing the essence of the subject's personality. |

Abstract in Greenby mefnjComment: Finally - my personal favorite format - abstracts. I love working with images to make this this way or that way and make it meaningful. This image reminds me a lot of Theo van Doesburg's art - he had a way with shapes that really make you follow the curves and shapes to entertain the brain. This is a perfect example of that - I spent a great deal of time just looking at this - it is a perfect example of art in the form of photography - a nexus of purpose and meaning. Well done - excellent. I hope the author takes first place. |

Assemblageby PaulComment: I've come back to this several times - first time I didn't like it, second time I saw somethings that I liked and the third time, I'm torn between bad and just ok. I'm going to opt for ok because I hate being negative without being constructive. I think I understand what the author was going for here but, not to put too fine a point on it, it isn't quite there. The foreground creates a different impression than the background and now that I think about it, it might have made for a much more impactful image if the top third was cropped out - the result would have been much more meaningful and have significantly more impact. A little lighter on the contract would also have helped the foreground. Sorry for this being so long, but the image had a great deal of potential to my way of thinking. |

Hooverby Yo_SpiffComment: Very nice night capture - not much to the image in general, but it does capture a lot of detail that is fun to look at. Nicely done. |

Duoby MargaretNetComment: Wonderful example of light and shadow combining into an outstanding image. This is just so perfect it defies description. I can't nitpick anything - well I could but that would be silly - great shot - I'd like this to place somewhere in the top Five - maybe #2 as I've already picked my candidate for #1. :) |

Hand In Handby PangurbanComment: I used to love walking the beach with my camera in hand - it was so much fun - this reminds me of those times - I think the image could be improved substantially if the top third was cropped out. |

Interrupted by glad2badadComment: Whoever submitted these two images is a freakin' editing genius - this image it much better than the first I saw and has that certain "WOW!!!" factor that makes it great. Definitely a top five image at minimum, the winner if I had anything to say about it. Well done. |
