One of the top ten images so far - there is really nothing to comment on as the image and title are perfect. Well done.

Wonderful combination of light and color. Very whimsical in concept. A fun image and composed properly. Well done.

I think I know where the author was headed with this image, but it is a little darker than necessary. A little less bokeh would also help. Still, a good effort and a worthy entry.

Like the way the light blends from right to left. Nice composition of square and angle. Highly detailed and it matches the title perfectly. Well done.

I like the idea, but the title isn't something that quite blends with the subject. Maybe something along the lines of "Where lies the land, to which the ship would go?" which is from a short form poem written by Arthur Hugh Clough. Like the picture though - nice tonality, good composition even if it is a little more centered than it should be. A little different angle maybe? Anyway, it's worth high marks just for the technical aspects. Nice.

I like it - the initial impression over comes the little minor flaws that one could nit pick to death. Just as an observation, not being critical, a little more open aperture would have lightened up the dark edges. Then again, the lighter slightly off center subject works well in contrast with the darker parts. Six of one, half dozen of the other.

I think this would have worked better in black and white. There is a fine grain to the image that would have given the subject a lot more impact.

Laughed out loud for this one. Nice out of the box thinking. Love the stark black and white tonality even though the white legs seem a little washed out with no detail - legs should have detail. A little more even lighting would have worked well here. Good image and funny title. Well done.

Interesting choice of euphemism and imagery. I like it - clever. Different take on the phrase which is used mostly in education. Can't pick one part of the image to critique - very unique. Well done.

A closer look at the heron would have improved this but only a little - the detail, even at a distance, is sharp and viewable. Like the concept, like the title and like the tonality of the picture. Nicely done.
