I honestly don't know what to say. I know it has something to do with losing obviously, but what is the subject that the image is supposed to portray? I'm not trying to be mean, but to me, this doesn't represent anything like the title - I don't mean to be harsh, but why this?

I think I know what the point is, but I'm not sure - this is a reference to Alice in Wonderland right? In any case, I think this could have done with a little more thought and definitely color - it just doesn't work for me in black and white. But that is my opinion - nothing to be taken seriously. :>)

I wonder how many raters really looked at this before rating it. Personally, I think it is brilliant - the equal of some of the other highly rated images. I've been rating between 7 and 10 on this challenge because of the creativity that went into a lot of these images, but this one ranks right up there with what ever wins. Very creative and nicely lighted and composed. By rights, this should be a top three image. Well done.

The antique look with the "film scratches" is a very nice touch. And there does not appear to be any green bleed over which is unusual with this much - what is there just adds to the overall impact of the image. Well done.

I have this thing about the junction of "art" and photography. There is a very fine line where the photograph becomes something different. This doesn't cross that line, but it is right on the edge and I like that. Well done.
