I know that the intent was here and it sort of works, but there just isn't any thing interesting to recommend it as a high score challenge image. I might have tried to use the green to halo the tree and use that as the image.

Another great example of Modern Expressionism and the conversion is perfect. I'm sure this probably won't score high, but I'm giving it a ten because it's something that is right down the middle of the plate as far as I'm concerned.

I like this although I would have preferred a closer look and have shown off the reflection of the bridge a little more. Still, a very pleasing image.

Take this with a grain of salt if you will, but the reflected lights are very overpowering and distract from what could have been a very interesting image.

I commented on an earlier entry that overuse of this technique was killing it as you see it improperly applied. This is one of those instances - there isn't any definition to the water and it just blends together into a blue tinted mass - no interesting things to look at.

I've looked and looked and looked at this and I just don't like it. However, I'm not one to let personal opinion get in the way of a technically interesting image. Being fair is more important than personal opinion and from a technical standpoint, this is a great capture.

I have in the past, and in other venues, complained mightly about the over use of the "flowing water" technique. It just seems to pedestrian - like sunrises and sunsets - everybody takes them and they happen often enough to become ordinary. In this case though, it wasn't over used. The slight view of the creek bottom under the water flow is a plus and the overall impact is pleasing. A good job and a slightly different approach to a common technique.
