Homeward Boundby MilesWComment: This is quite a nice photo, but I feel there's a little too much in the center. The grassy shoots right in the middle in my mind form a line with the birds which seem to almost cut the picture in half. I'm guessing though that there wasn't a whole lot of time to compose this shot before the birds were gone, so good job in that sense! |

cabbagesby skewsmeComment: What a fantastic shot! The mood here is amazing. Every part of this picture adds to the scene without cluttering it. There's just two changes which I think could really improve this shot:
The patch of light grass just at the bottom of the frame really draws your attention, I think darkening a bit to match the rest of the grass would have made it a much better lead up to the house.
The house itself is a little dark, it is completely dominated by the bright patch of sky to the left of it. Dodging the house a bit to lighten it up and make it a touch more prominent, without actually making it bright could have helped here. |

Once Upon a Sunsetby tinky2Comment: This is a really nice tranquil shot. The minute I looked at this I knew it was one of those I would love to have taken myself! |

First of Decemberby wildirisComment: I love the overall mood of this shot, the composition is great, and I like everything in it. It's just a shame it's a touch on the dark side, it could perhaps have done with a little lightening up of everything below the horizon while keeping the sky the same. That would have brought out a little more detail in the water, which I think would have improved the shot overall. |

Flybyby EBJonesComment: I like this shot a lot, the orange sun reflecting on the bridge brings it out really nicely and the reflection on the water makes a great offset to the positioning of the bridge.
Just a couple of things I think might have improved the image:
It would have been nice to see a bit more of the bridge, it sort of curves back on itself leaving you wanting to see the rest.
It might have been nicer if the shot was opened out a touch to bring the sun in a little more towards the left third.
It looks like there's something weird happening with the sun's reflection, I can see some green on the water, it could have been worth while editing that out.
Anyway, I know I sound very negative, but overall I think it's a great shot! |

winter pastureby undieyatchComment: This reminds me a lot of home so I naturally like it, but I find the focus of the picture a little dark and doesn't do much to draw my attention. Instead I keep finding my attention drawn up into the empty sky. |

Twisted natureby GlanniComment: This is great, makes me think of lots of little space creatures huddling together (yes, I'm odd that way). I think ust a touch more exposure and saturation would have improved this, but I do like it a lot! |

Twisted deFenceby millsaComment: I think this has the potential to be nice, but there's something missing in this one, perhaps the colour or texture isn't agreeing with me.
Also, the background is almost completely (but not completely) blurred, so it takes the wire out of context, and I think a little background could have been nice so we could see what it was we aren't allowed to get to. |
