Blindby caziehlComment: Like the idea here, more interesting than many of the entry's in the challenge. For me though, the unfocused legs of the glasses are just in the way and don't add anything. Perhaps a change of composition bringing the camera lower down and left a little so that the legs appear to "frame" the lens area would have helped. |

chairby 1901Comment: I don't think there's much of real interest here. The scene in general is untidy because of the patchy snow and partial plant at the top, and the subject isn't striking for any real reason. |

After work, alone with my thoughtsby david_cComment: Nice shot, though perhaps a touch dull. I know that's the intended mood but there's a just too little detail here. I turned the brightness right up to see if it was just my display but still the same. Taking into account the great composition, 6 from me. |

Light and Shade Interwovenby PanksComment: Don't really see shadows so much as unlit areas here (I'm sure there's a difference). Also, the image seems to be skewed a touch to the left and there's an annoying bright artefact at the bottom you should have cropped out. |

Five Arches Bridgeby pheonix676Comment: I like the contrast of light and dark areas on the water here, but the water itself isn't particularly attractive. Might have been nice with a touch longer exposure to give it a softer feel. Mind you, can't blame you if you didn't want to hang around too long setting up a tripod, looks cold! |
