I like the contrast of the shiny metallic fence and the old building behind it. I'm not usually a fan of fisheye shots, but I think it really works here as well.

The textures in the door and the stone despite being behind the fence for the large part are still clear and sharp. Not sure if you did some PP to get those colours the way they are but if you did you made a good job of it.

Great shot, after having gone through about a quarter of the entries, this is my favourite so far!

This is a nice picture, it has a good rustic old fashioned look. I'm guessing you added the grain here to give it an aged look, which I like, but you might suffer from it with some other voters.

My only minor complaint is what I'm thinking is a cloth in the background of the photo (to the right) is a bit annoying, I think you should have possibly removed it for this shot.

I'm not sure about the subject, I'm sure it meets challenge but I don't know if it's the best choice. I can see some interesting looking detail in the background which might have made a better shot.

Also, I'm guessing you're using on camera flash here which has caused a slightly unnatural colour in the foreground area and separated it from the background.

I also don't think you have made the best use of the location. I'm guessing this is some sort of old ruin, which are always really interesting pieces of architecture, but your choice of focus probably hasn't emphasised that.

This is a very interesting old building. I think the weather hasn't helped you a whole lot here, the bland grey sky and the white snow have kind of made this image a little dull looking, I think it would be a lot better against either dramatic clouds or a strong blue, but what can you do, the elements don't always play along!

Nice shot though I'm not sure about the trees in the foreground. I think this building would have stood well on it's own. Sometimes I realise that it's difficult to avoid things like this but I think in this case you could have easily avoided the branches from a different angle.

It looks like you are simply documenting the rocks here as if to be archived somewhere. From that point of view you've done a fairly good job. You can see some good and interesting detail there, but the back half of the larger rock is starting to go out of focus, I think for this sort of shot you should have used a much longer DOF.

This is an interesting looking building, but I don't think you've made the most of the shot. I realise you may be going for something different because you see it all the time, but from my point of view I've never seen it before and feel that you should have taken in the whole building.

Also, I'm guessing that you've done some sort of dodging / burning here but you have ended up with halos around the building which don't help the shot at all.

This is a nice shot, but I'm going to mark it down a few points because to me it doesn't meet challenge.

On the shot itself the colours and landscape are nice but you have a very centred horizon. If you got lower down and moved the horizon to the lower third it might have worked better.

Nice enough shot, but doesn't stand out particularly. It might be the angle you've taken it from, buildings like this often look better straight on to take in the whole thing.

This is a nice well taken shot of this building. The sky is good but I think you somehow need some more drama to set this shot off. Perhaps a different time of the day.
