Carveby PGerstComment: Pretty good photo. Clean the knife and fork. Replace the tin foil with something else. |

Feast for a Sweet Toothby klkitchensComment: Great lighting. Great idea with the coconut as snow. Background should be blurred more and should have saved this one for a Christmas challenge or something. |

Dig In!by boyd2000Comment: Picture lacks excitement or something. Too much brownish tones for me. One thing that I do see is the steam rising from the soup? Lower lighting and a black background with just the soup with the steam could have been really nice. |

Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice)by gauravComment: I like the table, but the lighting isn't strong enough for it. Should have played with the food a little to have a stronger presentation. Maybe through some fresh vegetables (other than the cucumber slices)on or around it. |

Dinner Is Servedby EssAreDubyaComment: Concentrate more on the food. Crop out the computer? under the table/desk. Maybe take the shot to the front and drop down to a lower angle so that you can use the yellow wall as a nice bacground. The fireplace is too much of a distraction. |

Num Num Yummyby Pipe_DreamComment: I would drop the hat, lose the beer and the margarine, and iron the shirt. I like how the rolls or whatever that is in the foreground looks. I would have like to have seen more of the cello? in the shot and maybe a little more refined look. Also would have panned to the left some to omit the white curtain in the background. |

The Last Thanksgivingby DrPhotoComment: Would have cropped a little off the bottom so that the bottom edge is almost at the plate level. I would have also used a shallower DOF so that everything behind the knives was blurry. Also would have moved the front wine glass a little more off center. Unfortunately the knives blend in with the background due to the lines in the window and the darkness in the bushes.
Another idea would be to take the plate out of the shot and move the turkey platter to the right and the front wine glass to the left. |
