The flash is to "visible" in the eyes of this cute dog. Takes away some personality

I struggled alot with lighting and trying to move the flash so it wouldn't reflect in my dogs eyes. I guess it is your flash I see in the eye there, and I would tro to avoid that if possible. Good shot of nice looking dog!

Now that's a tricky shot. Cats face is about just right, but the belly is overexposed. Very nice captured nevertheless!

I haven't seen all of the photos yet, but so far I hope this wins, or at least ribbon. God knows what Fritz is thinking!

I discovered something while shooting my own dog (which actually sounded quite bad, but you know what I mean). Anok is probably paying attention to you instead of the lens, or anywhere else, so the white part of his eyes are very much visible. I guess that can be a matter of taste and appeal, but I found my photos getting much more depth and focus when I tried to prevent those parts of showing. Anyway, this a very, very good photo, and your greyscale toning is spot on. Your pet looks absolutely beautifull too!

I had the same "problem" with my own dog, that the white part of the eye is showing to much. I solved the problem by click with a small metal-object on top of the lens hood to get his attention in that direction instead of his owner. She looks like a beautifull dog though!
