And the entire house burns to the ground? Light is hope, I believe, but I don't get that feeling from this photo. The composition is good, good work with the DOF. The colors are good, almost perfectly balanced light between the small candles and the flames, but I'm sorry to say I don't get the Hope as much as I want from photos in this challenge. 5

This is certainly one type of hope. Good composition, but I think the subject is to dark for the background. More light should be lighting it up perhaps?

23 points? If I've done my math correctly, probably haven't, but anyway... I give you 5 for a good composition, good use of the fish, and interpretation of this challenge, but the title is a bit to strong. Not everyone share this belief, thus to strong pointing it out like that.

Well it's a nice shot, but one might wonder why she is sitting, cowered in mud, in muddy water only wearing something that would apear to be a silky night...dress...kinda thing. Razersharp shot nevertheless.
