I really like the composition and the subject, but it seems too light in the foreground for where the sun apparently is, giving the picture an unreal quality. Might create more drama and focus on the lighthouse if the foreground was not so bright?

Well, I did look at the galleries of still life pictures prior to posting this one... and relying on the huge number of non traditional still life pictures and the general statement that I had read somewhere in the rules for voting that one should not be too sticky about the topic...

Anyway, I like the picture, even if I didn't go inside and set up a scene with wine bottles, cheese and an apple.
