You should wait until they back off from the feeder so it doesn't distract from the hummer. They'll sip, back off, sip, back off, and so on. They almost always back off to the same spot so you can pre-focus the first time they back off and snap the pic on the second time.

I don't know if its normal or not. I know there were two squirrels looking for handouts by the chowhall and they were both walking bowlegged. I've photographed a lot of squirrels and its the first time I've seen something like that.

I'm glad I wasn't in that game also. Toledo recently graduated to Division 2 rugby and the opponents are just bigger and tougher. The Celtics always offer me some match time, but its usually B-side, and I usually decline because I can't keep up with them younguns. There is an Old Boys match against Detroit in May I'm thinking about getting in shape for, but I'll have to verify that they'll have Oxygen and paddles on the touchlines. Thanks for the comment.
