No color adjustment, it was just as the sun was breaking the horizon so it's simply early morning light. |

Going Inby JdroullardComment: Originally posted by EL-ROI: A very respectable top ten finish on this! I like your work with the XSi. Do you process your raw in DPP and then go to photoshop? Also to speak to one of the comments regarding sharpness, did you adjust the sharpness in camera settings or just use the default setting of 3 and sharpen afterwards? |
Honestly there was no sharpness processing. I didn't shoot this in RAW either, I just adjusted the curves, levels, vibrance and saturation. I think the sharpness critique is coming from the natural texture of the rock maybe? But the commenter didn't make it clear if his sharpness concerns were too sharp or not enough. anyhow, here is the original...

Going Inby JdroullardComment: Originally posted by mitalapo: I miss some blue. Maybe a different exposure, or blending two exposures could have revealed both sky and sand. (not voting) |
actually it was quite a cloudy day, no blue to be seen. Here is the wide shot that shows it all (no processing) |

Yeah, I figured everyone here has seen plenty of the inside, but not too much of the outside... |

Emilby jfritz27Comment: the quality of the picture is stunning, but I'm not getting the jacket placement. It's too distracting and overbearing on the picture. I won't count you down for that though, 8 |
