Watch my sugar intakeby johnmComment by JC_Homola: Greetings from the Critique Club.
Well, from the looks of this shot it is obviously something you do need to watch! You look like your riding a major sucrose high.. very funny.
But, the shot itself.
While amusing, it is really one that falls into the category of snapshot. All the clutter behind you is very distracting, the light is rather harsh on the, um,, cupcakes ?. I like the composition within the frame of the shot that is quite good.
If you had managed to stick those things over your eyes without the packet and had a plain background this would have been really good.
of course, this is just my opinion.
JC (how's the resolution doing?) |

Homeby johnmComment by Fayech: image seems a bit washed out. would have loved to see the contrast/levels increased to strengthen the interesting image. |

Homeby johnmComment by jmritz: Like the brickwork and the composition. I think might be better without the out of focus bird. |

Homeby johnmComment by Olyuzi: I think you would have had a very interesting and compelling picture with the texture and diagnals/verticles of the houses if it weren't overexposed. Also, if you would have been able to get a different point of view so that the bottom left roof was out of the picture (maybe you could have zoomed your lens past it) that would improve it as well. Good concept and meets the challenge theme well. Going to give you a 7 even with the flaws mentioned above. |

Homeby johnmComment by Aaron: I like the POV and the repitition, but it's overall too bright and the sky is overpowering. Metering on the sky or other brigter object would remedy it. |
