Taschaby johnmComment by Alexys: I think the background was not a good choice. Furthermore her hair is too much saturated. Just my opinion |

Life of grimeby johnmComment by KevinRiggs: Dang. Your lens filter needs to be replaced. Just kidding. Looks like you shot through something like a window. That's pretty distracting. You chose what could probably be a decent sbject but between the glare from the sun, the trucks at the bottom of the photo and the overall marred image (due to whatever you shot through) the image suffers. I'd suggest an uninterrupted line of sight to the subject as well as a much tighter crop to make them the central figures in the image. |

Taschaby johnmComment by ChrisW123: The backlighting is pretty interesting. The orange background is also cool. |

Taschaby johnmComment by carlacryptic: Nice shot of a beautiful smile and I like the orange background - the transition from the hair to the background is a little harsh but doesn't take away too much from the overall effect. - 6 |

Taschaby johnmComment by EddyG: Great attempt at meeting this challenge. The backlit-hair thing can work very well in a portrait situation, but to me it looks a bit over-done here, so much so that it has turned a large portion of her hair yellowish-white. I also probably would have cropped this to a portrait orientation. I think with a little diffusion on the backlighting, you can end up with a great shot! |

Life of grimeby johnmComment by EL-ROI: This looks like it was taken through a scratched and dirty bus window, which is not good. |

Life of grimeby johnmComment by Sammie: Very nice use of parallel lines. The murkey quality of this photo really enhances the meaning of the title. |
