It's my Garden Shelterby RebTheRebelComment by autool: You have wonderful subjects here, but I think you just included too many objects.. In my opinion if you only had the green watering can with the pump it would be killer. The hose, funnel, yellow can, flower pot and the tile it's setting on have to go! 6 now 9 fixed! |

It's my Garden Shelterby RebTheRebelComment by DBoy: The pic seems to me a bit plain, probably because of the light (looks like you used flash). May be some light contrast could increase the feeling of depth. |

It's my Garden Shelterby RebTheRebelComment by nds: Hm, I'm not shure, that I like the watering cans in this shot. IMHO their colors are distracting. An older metal version would have been much more suitable. But the water pump looks highly interesting to me for it's own. Perhaps a shot only with the pump would have been better too? Nevertheless a nice "garden shot" - good luck! - 6 |

Fields of goldby RebTheRebelComment by RebTheRebel: Originally posted by ellamay: Your photo, IMO is very overprocessed, yet a great example of a pushed photo that works. It has taken on almost a water color feel to it. My only dislike is the top I find it distracting and would of prefered it cropped out. Otherwise i quite like your shot the flower buds on the left and the vast space on right is very nice. Good work. |
I think I don't merit this place, anyway I am very motivated to follow your comments, it's very kind of you ...
I don't pushed the picture, I done just an autolevel in Photoshop elements (it's new for me, i used to work in a little B&W darkroom not in front of my computer ...) and I was not really happy with my composition, but I red the rules, and kept that we could'nt not change too much things on the original picture, and I was afraid of changing forbidden things (I don't yet understand all that technical stuff ...)..
Hope you can help me as I can help you ... Thank you again

Fields of goldby RebTheRebelComment by RebTheRebel: Thank You all for your very constructive comments, I am quite new in digital photography and digital pictures manipulations(I swapped a old 28-70 2.8L Canon for a Leica digilux), I am very happy but it is a different way to manage pictures... I tried not to change too much things in the original picture (it's why it's not cropped), and with Photoshop Elements I only done an auto levels correction, and that's all (or maybe I tried a sharpening) I was not very happy with the shot quality but all your comments will help me to enhance and learn to manage digital imagery... Thank you all ...
I am looking for a Canon Eos 10D for around 900-1000$, someone interested selling me one ??
(I have still canon analog EOS3 body and 2 Canon L Zoom lenses, and would like to use them ... in digital)...
Thank you all

Fields of goldby RebTheRebelComment by miller: Composition is excellent, however I think the [insert whatever plant that is here] in the middle of the frame should be in focus. |
