I really like the contrasting hairstyles between the mother and the child, the intimacy of the hug and the sharp aye of the girl. The lighting is very good and the DOF is perfect, something that could so easily been done wrong.

i try and give out only one 10 per challenge ...that signifies my favorite shot ...this picture brings tears to my eyes....it is terrific ....there is no doubt that the little girl in the photo is loved and wants to be nowhere else but in her mothers arms....you got my 10 for this challenge....

Interesting image, but almost too much going on. The little girl is a cutie, but her mother's hair seems to draw the attention (because it is so different fromt he norm). The bright green in the back ground, although OOF, is still so bright in too draws away from the foreground. I like this image, but somehow find it somewhat annoying as my eye bounces around too much. Although that probably doesn't make too much sense, it's the best way I can describe it. <7>

The hair on this mom makes this picture like the child is resting in a flower. I love the color of this hair although I suppose I wouldn't love it on my children to be frank. Great shot catching the athmosphere.
