what's in a glance?by LutchenkoComment by littlegett: One of my higher scored portraits. When I look at this the models face does appear doll-like. However the drama created by the hair and the side styled framing add interest for e. The clarity and lighting and contrast works nicely for me as well. |

peekabooby LutchenkoComment by tjbel05: Um, wow. The overall impression I got at first glance was that the model was a doll. After opening it up, I see I was mistaken. I really like how you framed this in, but would like to see more detail in the nose area, as their is not a lot of depth their. This is a very dramatic pose to me that overall works very well. |

peekabooby LutchenkoComment by stupidcat: would like to have seen the shoulder lit similar to the face as it is more in the frame and draws my eye. The white (scarf?) around her neck is slightly blown out at the top under her chin and distracts a bit. But I love the composition and the face is perfect IMHO. |

peekabooby LutchenkoComment by ErikV: Nice crop and use of empty space. The selective desaturation works nicely. But the bluishness on her lips bothers me a bit because it strikes me as being a result of the lighting rather than applied cosmetically -- I would prefer it be all pink or red. |
