Damselflyby JaxsonComment by pinback: Pretty. The damsel's head is a little lost in the dark part of the background, though. Pretty good DOF and nice focus. Wings are in an attractive position. Overall, good catch just slightly let down by the viewpoint. |

Damselflyby JaxsonComment by quadangle: Nice damselfly. The background is colorful, which can be good, but since it is more colorful than the subject, it detracts from the image. It makes it look like somebody's yard or patio. Is that where this was taken? The white speck on the leaf is something that makes me disagree with the "no spot retouching" rule. |
