Great shot. i also don't get why you didn't get a ribbon on this one. Contrasting is incredible. Really brings out bicyclist. The curve in the road is very interesting. It makes your eyes follow it. Seems like you took this lower then eye level.

Composition is great, the monochrome really works well (appropriate for the old-fashioned bicycle), and the winding road leads the eyes to wherever the destination is. Perhaps trim a little bit at the bottom to take out a little bit more of the road, equal to the height of the space between the top and the head. But I am just being petty. Overall, you pretty much portrayed a very leisurely sport very well.
