Anchoredby MsAmbrosiaComment by Sibbie: I love the contrast in the clouds compared to the rest of the photo. However, it seems like too much of a focal point. I think you should have made the boat of the same contrast level as the clouds so that both the boat and the sky could be incorporated into being the same focal point, because right now the boat blends into the water too much. |

The Shadows Close Inby MsAmbrosiaComment by Leo: I really like this. I like how the ship is in the middle if the moon reflected water. However you PP'd this, nice job. |

The Shadows Close Inby MsAmbrosiaComment by Teafran: A good entry into the challenge, it lacks any significant point of interest to recommend a higher rating. The over use of shadow for effect is largely ineffective - a little more detail in the dark areas would have been a huge plus. The ship heading toward harbor is a good detail, but with no running lights, it fails to give an impression of dusk, evening or night and, in truth, the whole image just appears flat. While there are hints of color in the sky, it's ineffective and gives the impression of having been a color image post processed into an evening image. |
